Jewell Stewart Pratt Beckerson & Carr (JSPBC) is pleased to announce that eight of its attorneys have been recognized by Northern California Super Lawyers® for 2026. Super Lawyers is a rating service recognizing outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Attorneys are selected through a multiphase process that includes peer nominations, independent research, and peer evaluations. Only 5 percent of attorneys in each state are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers, while only 2.5 percent are selected for the Rising Stars list.
Notably, all three of the firm’s principals have been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. Principal & Managing Attorney Claire Pratt has been named a Super Lawyer from 2019 to present, having previously been recognized as a Rising Star beginning in 2015. Principal Chris Beckerson has been selected to Super Lawyers from 2022 to present, following his inclusion as a Rising Star from 2015–2019. Principal Jennifer Carr has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2025 after being named a Rising Star from 2017–2022. Senior Associate Tiffany Martinez has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for the first time in 2026 having been named a Rising Star from 2019-2021.
Founder & Of Counsel Phyllis Jewell was named a Super Lawyer at the inception of the Northern California Super Lawyers list in 2004 and has been recognized each year from 2004–2013 and 2015 to present. Of Counsel James Mayock has likewise been recognized over multiple decades, having been named to the list from 2004–2013 and 2020 to present.
The firm is also proud to congratulate Associate Attorneys Snigdha Ravulapati and David Binsacca, who were selected for inclusion in the 2026 Northern California Rising Stars list. Rising Stars recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state who are either age 40 or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
